The Maacher Wäimoart takes place every year in Grevenmacher, a small wine-growing town in Luxembourg located about thirty kilometres north of Gaume. Traditionally held on the Friday after Easter, the 2026 edition will be on 9 July and will showcase recent vintages from local winemakers.

This wine market brings together producers and enthusiasts in the town centre streets, offering the chance to taste white wines from the Luxembourg Moselle, particularly Riesling and Auxerrois. The atmosphere is festive, with tasting stands and the typical feel of regional wine celebrations.

From Gaume, allow around 45 minutes' drive to reach Grevenmacher. The event draws large crowds, so consider arriving in the early afternoon to make the most of the tastings. A designated driver will come in handy for the journey home.
