Saint John's Day Walks in Bouillon: five routes to choose from

On 21 June 2026, the village of Bouillon hosts its Saint John's Day Walks, a hiking event open to everyone. Five signposted routes — 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 km — start from the Maison de Village from 8 a.m. onwards. Each walker picks their distance based on preference and fitness level.

This date falls on the summer solstice, making it perfect for enjoying long daylight hours and the rolling landscapes along the Semois river. The atmosphere is friendly, bringing together families, regular hikers, and visitors eager to explore local trails. A bar awaits participants upon their return.

Bring good walking shoes and plenty of water, especially for the longer routes. Registration begins early, allowing you to set off in the cool morning and finish before the heat kicks in. A great way to combine gentle exercise with discovering the natural heritage of Gaume.
