Equestrian trail ride in Redu: 13 km on horseback or carriage

On 20 June 2026, Redu hosts an equestrian trail ride open to mounted riders and horse-drawn carriages. Meeting point is set for 8am at the hunting lodge, at the end of Rue de Redu, for breakfast before departure. The morning loop, around 13 km, winds through the woods and rolling trails typical of the region.

Redu, famous as the book village, is also a wonderful setting for equestrian activities. The atmosphere is friendly, bringing together horse enthusiasts and lovers of the Ardennes countryside. The midday barbecue, organised on site, gives everyone a chance to refuel before the afternoon loop.

Remember to book your mount or carriage if you're coming from outside the area, and pack clothing suited to the season. Nearby gîtes provide ideal accommodation for extending your weekend in Gaume and exploring the trails at your own pace.
