Visit to Vum Gréis Farm and Municipal Management in Roeser

On July 9, 2026, the municipality of Roeser opens the doors to its market gardening production site and unveils its local resource management. On the program: a visit to Vum Gréis farm, where vegetables that supply the region are grown, and a presentation of municipal infrastructure designed for autonomy and sustainability. A day that combines local agriculture and land planning.

Roeser is located about twenty kilometers south of Luxembourg City, toward the French border. This residential municipality has committed to a short supply chain approach and the promotion of local terroir. The visit is aimed at those curious about urban agriculture, families, and those interested in alternative models of local management. The atmosphere is educational, combining practical demonstrations and exchanges with producers.

From Gaume, allow about 1h30 by road via the A28 and E411. Plan to wear appropriate shoes for walking on the production site. If you prefer to extend the discovery, the farmers' market on site allows you to leave with some fresh vegetables. An instructive outing off the beaten tourist track that provides a concrete overview of local initiatives in Luxembourg.
