Allow around 9 hours to fully enjoy this cycling day, including breaks and discoveries. The intermediate-level route requires good fitness to tackle the region's typical terrain. You'll pass through villages with strong rural character and discover viewpoints embracing the rolling horizon.
Bring plenty of water and some snacks: stretches between villages can be long. Spring and autumn offer ideal light for admiring the panoramas, while summer guarantees fine days for cycling in the open air. A mountain bike or gravel bike will be more comfortable on certain sections.
