The lynx is coming back — and it deserves your attention
This is arguably the most distinctive event of the weekend. On 8 June, the Pays de Bouillon hosts a film screening and discussion evening about the fragile return of the lynx to our forests. Free but requiring prior registration, the event combines a documentary screening with a conversation with conservation specialists. Local flavours at the Rumelange market
Also on Sunday, the Rumelange monthly market sets out its stalls of seasonal fruits, vegetables and local specialities in a warm, convivial atmosphere. A perfect detour to stock up before heading back to the gîte.
The Schueberfouer: eight centuries of fairground tradition
From 9 June, the legendary Schueberfouer opens its gates in Luxembourg City. Founded eight centuries ago, this enormous funfair is the largest in the entire Greater Region — a joyful, popular event well worth the trip if you are extending your weekend towards the Grand Duchy's capital.
