Open-air theatre under the stars, medicinal walks, blues at the château and stargazing: discover our pick of events in the Gaume and Luxembourg province for late August 2026.

The last sparks of summer in the Gaume
Summer still lingers over our hills, and the end of August holds some of its finest moments. Between open-air performances, the scent of wild herbs and music at the foot of castles, the Gaume and the Belgian Ardennes invite you to savour these last sunny days. Here is our editorial selection for travellers seeking authenticity.
Theatre beneath the celestial vault
This Tuesday 26 August, let yourself be carried away by the magic of the Open-air theatre « Un monde idéal ». From 9pm, actors and natural scenery echo one another in a suspended atmosphere. Booking is required, a detail that speaks to the care behind this €15 evening. A poetic prelude to your stay.
Arlon's hidden treasures
The curious will enjoy the Flash visits of Arlon station, passionately guided by Jean-Luc Bouillon. In just thirty minutes, an emblematic site reveals its secrets — the perfect chance for a cultural escape without overdoing it.
Nature, blues and stars
Friday 28 August promises a whole palette of pleasures. In the morning, treat yourself to a Medicinal walk in the Gaume (€10, from 11am to noon) to learn about the plants lining our paths. As evening falls, Château du Faing hosts the free Concert « Albert Blues Band » from 8:30pm: a moment of groove in an exceptional heritage setting.
For dreamers, the Observation evenings at the La Fossedu Observatory invite you to gaze up at an Ardennes sky free of light pollution.
Extending the magic
These gatherings are best enjoyed when you take the time to stay. Setting down your bags in one of the Gîtes-Gaume means waking at the heart of this generous region and letting each day unfold at its own pace. We look forward to welcoming you.
