Agenda Gaume & Luxembourg belge : un dimanche de septembre 2026 tout en rythme lent

A September Sunday, when the Gaume slows right down

On 20 September 2026, the Gaume and Belgian Luxembourg region offers a Sunday rich in variety. No rush needed — just pick your own pace.

Under the vaults of Latour Castle, artisans gather

The Artisan Market at Château de Latour brings together local makers in the majestic setting of this old Gaume fortress. Jewellery, ceramics, hand-woven textiles: a morning to wander the stalls, a coffee on the terrace overlooking the château. A full Sunday, unhurried.

Pedal, walk, breathe: La Pierrardine at Pierrard

The cycling and walking loop La Pierrardine launches this Sunday between Virton and the Pierrard hills. Suitable for every level. Perfect after a hearty Gaume breakfast.

Walking the Godasse Gaumaise trails at Ethe

For the true wanderer, the Godasse Gaumaise walks are unmatched. Three routes — 6, 12 or 20 km — set off early from Ethe, threading through oak woodland and open meadow.

In Manhay, mobility turns into a festival

Further north, the Manhay Mobility Day transforms the village into a human-scale playground: bikes, local producers, family activities. You leave with a basket of farmhouse cheese.

One last gift: the road back to the children

The N829 between Lavacherie and Ortheuville closes for the day. The Car-Free Sunday hands a whole street back to kids on rollerblades and scooters.

Looking for a base to explore all this? Our Gaume cottages sit just steps from every trail.
